Hi Family and Friends,
I’m thrilled to share that our school is hosting a special event called the Jungle Safari Hawk Walk on October 2! I’ll be walking with my classmates to raise funds for our school, supporting essential programs and resources that enhance our learning experience.
I would be so grateful for your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal! Your donation will play a significant role in providing the resources we need for an amazing school year.

Adventure is calling! On Friday, October 2, we're heading out on a safari with Howie the Hawk! Students will walk or run laps around the school's outdoor track, and we're asking families to help by collecting donations from friends and relatives.
The Hawk Walk is our largest fundraiser for the school, and funds are used for a variety of things, like community events, teacher appreciation, and student help funds. Last year, we were able to fund a Book Vending Machine now located in our school library!
Every student will receive a free Hawk Walk t-shirt and 10 raffle tickets for a chance to win fun prizes like donuts with their teacher, open gym time with 2 of their friends, or a ride to school in a police car. Students who exceed the lap goal set by Mr. Fink will also earn extra small prizes for each extra lap.
There will be a special prize for the boy and girl from each classroom who completes the most laps, and a pizza party for the classroom who raises the most money.
Parents and families are invited to attend to cheer on and encourage our students as they trek around the Jungle Trail!

Each student will have a fundraising goal of $50. Please help us by helping your child share their donation link on social media. Final donation due date is Wednesday, October 7.

- If you would like to make a donation via check, please make checks payable to Hoover-Wood Elementary School PTO and note the student's name in the memo. Checks can be mailed to the school or dropped off at the front office (ATTN: PTO Fundraising)
