Fundraising

Through the generosity of our school community and local businesses, HWS PTO is able to provide funding for the everyday experiences that make Hoover-Wood special.  Your generosity has helped renovate our school library and bring in a book vending machine that gets kids excited about reading.  It's funded classroom supplies reimbursements, teacher and staff appreciation, and scholastic book fair subscriptions that keep learning fresh and fun.  PTO fundraising also covers the essentials that stretch a school budget further: field trip bus fees, recess games and supplies replacements, and student help funds that quietly support students during book fair and the holiday shop.  We help bring school assemblies and community events to life, creating shared moments that build school spirit and connection.

None of this happens without our community.  Whether you're buying raffle tickets, sponsoring a Fun Fair game, buying spirit wear, or making a direct donation, you're helping give every Hoover-Wood student a richer, more supported school experience.

How it's done...

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

• Participating in our events:  Downtown Batavia Shopping Day, Hawk Walk, Book Fair, Holiday Shop, Fun Fair, and Trivia Night
• Dining out on Restaurant Nights
• Buying HWS Spirit Wear
• Box Tops for Education
